Hydra

Hydra is a 13.99-metre catamaran built in 2021 and based at Yacht Club Mai. With four private cabins, eight berths and a guest capacity of twelve, the yacht is chartered exclusively as a whole vessel, making it well suited to family groups and groups of friends who want the full run of the boat without compromise. The catamaran hull provides noticeably less rolling than a monohull in open water, a practical advantage for guests who are sensitive to seasickness.

What sets Hydra apart technically is a carefully integrated energy system. A lithium LiFePO4 battery bank stores power efficiently and extends the periods between generator runs, keeping noise and fuel consumption low. Solar panels supply the yacht's daily electrical demand from renewable energy, while a watermaker produces fresh drinking water independently at sea, eliminating reliance on shore supplies. The full electronic suite is built on B&G chartplotter technology, delivering up-to-date chart data, remote monitoring and autopilot control for a relaxed and precise passage at all times. A generator is also on board to cover peak demand, and the charter team can advise on usage arrangements.

Because Hydra operates on an exclusive whole-boat basis, every square metre of the vessel belongs to your group from the moment you step aboard. The wide bridgedeck of the catamaran design opens into generous social spaces, and the twin hulls provide a stable platform for sunbathing, swimming and evening dining under the stars. Departing from Yacht Club Mai, you can plan day excursions into the secluded bays around Bodrum or set a course for a longer blue cruise along the Aegean and Mediterranean coastline, spending nights anchored in calm coves far from the crowds.
