One of Hydra's defining technical strengths is its carefully layered energy system. Solar panels cover the bulk of the vessel's daily power requirements, while a Lithium LiFePO4 battery bank stores that energy efficiently, keeping generator and engine run-time to a minimum. The result is noticeably quieter anchorages and a smaller environmental footprint. When additional power is needed, a generator is available on board. Fresh water is never a concern at sea, thanks to an integrated WaterMaker that produces clean drinking water independently of any shore supply. For navigation, a full B&G chartplotter suite handles up-to-date charts, remote monitoring and autopilot functions, making passages both precise and relaxed.
