What is a cabin charter?

The simplest way to put it: just as you book a room in a hotel rather than the whole building, on a cabin charter you book one en-suite cabin on a gulet rather than the whole boat. The yacht, the route and the crew are already arranged; you join with your own cabin, at a per-person price.

This is what opens the blue cruise to couples and solo travellers. Chartering an entire gulet makes sense for a large group; for two people, a cabin charter delivers the same sea, the same bays and the same long deck dinners at a fraction of the cost. Cabins have private bathrooms; the deck, dining table and swim platform are shared with fellow guests, and the happy side effect is that most people step off the boat with new friends from other countries.

How it works: fixed route, fixed dates

Cabin cruises sail set routes on set days, most commonly Saturday to Saturday for seven nights. The Bodrum classic is the Gokova route: Orak Island, the Seven Islands, Cokertme, English Harbour and Sedir Island spread across the week. Shorter three-night minis open through the season.

The rhythm is simple: board in Bodrum harbour on the afternoon of departure day, disembark after breakfast on the final morning. In between, days follow the gulet's natural pace: a morning cruise, a long midday swim at anchor, dinner on deck in a quiet bay. Since the route is fixed, your only decision is the date; ask us and we will send the current departure calendar.

Full board on deck

Meals are included, and they are the best-loved part of these cruises. The standard seven-night package covers seven breakfasts, six lunches and six dinners plus an afternoon snack; drinking water, tea and coffee flow all day. The chef cooks fresh daily: Aegean greens, grills, olive-oil dishes, seasonal fruit.

Drinks are not included and come from the boat's bar; bringing your own is generally not permitted on shared cruises. Linen and bath towels are provided, and snorkelling gear is on board for everyone. Pack a swimsuit, a hat and a good book; the rest is handled.

Rates for :year

Cabin cruise pricing is per person and moves with the calendar. For seven-night departures from Bodrum in 2026, expect roughly 650 Euro per person in May, 850 to 1,250 Euro in June and September, and upwards of 1,050 Euro in July and August. Three-night minis offer a smaller first taste.

The boat's class and the departure week drive the differences, and booking early wins both on price and on cabin choice. Solo travellers pay a single-occupancy supplement, still far below the cost of a private charter. Send your dates and party size; we will reply the same day with open boats, cabin types and exact per-person rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a cabin charter the same as a cabin cruise?

Yes; both mean booking one en-suite cabin on a crewed gulet at a per-person price, on a fixed route with fixed departure dates, sharing the boat with fellow guests.

Are meals really included?

Yes. The standard seven-night package includes 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners and an afternoon snack, with water, tea and coffee free all day. Drinks come separately from the boat's bar.

Can I join solo?

Absolutely; cabin cruises are a classic for solo travellers. Using a cabin alone carries a single supplement, still far cheaper than a private charter. The atmosphere on board is sociable and often international.

Can children join?

There is a minimum age that varies by route; 6 is the common threshold, and some departures discount ages 6-12. For families with younger children, a private gulet charter is usually the more comfortable choice.

Can we bring our own drinks?

On shared cabin cruises, generally no; drinks are purchased from the boat's bar so the arrangement stays fair for every guest on board.

When do the boats depart?

Mostly Saturday to Saturday, boarding in the afternoon and disembarking after breakfast on the last day. Three-night minis run on set mid-week or weekend slots; ask us for the current calendar.
