Aganippe

Built in 2008, the 26.6-metre wooden gulet Aganippe is based at Bodrum Marina and is offered exclusively as a full-boat private charter. With four cabins and a maximum of eight guests, she is booked by a single group at a time, never shared with other parties, so everyone on board has the run of the entire yacht, from the forward deck to the stern platform, for the whole duration of the charter.

Keeping the guest count to eight shapes daily life aboard in practical ways. The crew's attention stays with one group rather than being divided, meal times follow the guests' own pace instead of a fixed schedule, and where to anchor each day can be decided on the morning itself. This kind of flexibility is one of the clear benefits of chartering a gulet of this size in Bodrum, and Aganippe's proportions give guests plenty of room to spread out, both on deck and in the cabins below.

Setting off from Bodrum Marina, you can choose to spend the opening days exploring the sheltered bays around the Bodrum peninsula, or plan a longer blue cruise toward the Gulf of Gökova for a change of pace and quieter anchorages. There is no need to lock in a fixed route before departure: the itinerary can be built day by day, guided by weather, wind and what the group feels like doing that morning. That is largely what makes a privately chartered gulet appealing to travellers who want to set their own rhythm.

For anyone comparing options for a Bodrum yacht charter or gulet charter, Aganippe suits small groups looking for a private, unhurried blue cruise experience. Berths and preferred departure dates at Bodrum Marina tend to fill up during the peak summer weeks, so early booking is worth considering if you have particular dates in mind.
