Techne

Built in 1994 and fully refitted in 2024, Techne is a 24-metre wooden gulet based at Bodrum Marina on Turkey's Aegean coast. The renovation modernised the interiors and onboard systems while keeping the warm character typical of classic gulets. With 8 double cabins and 18 berths in total, Techne comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests.

Every cabin is air-conditioned and comes with its own private WC and shower, giving each guest a self-contained, hotel-style sleeping space. A crew of four stays in separate quarters, taking care of meals, housekeeping, technical upkeep and the daily rhythm of the trip. Once their work is done, the crew retreat to their own section, leaving guests free to enjoy the salon and deck areas on their own terms.

Techne is chartered as a whole yacht only, which makes it a strong fit for private groups who want the boat entirely to themselves. Families, groups of friends and couples travelling together will appreciate the layout: eight private cabins spread across a 24-metre hull strike a comfortable balance between shared space and personal privacy. The wide deck naturally becomes the hub for meals, sunbathing and quiet evenings at anchor.

From Bodrum Marina, you can plan day cruises among the Bodrum bays, a practical option when time is limited, or you can choose a longer blue cruise that moves from anchorage to anchorage along the Aegean coast over several days, the classic way most guests experience this kind of gulet charter. Anyone searching for Bodrum yacht charter or a dependable gulet charter will find Techne's setup suited to both short getaways and longer voyages.
