DRAGON FLY

Based year-round at Bodrum Marina, DRAGON FLY is a 39-metre gulet built in 2006, fitted with five cabins that sleep up to ten guests. She charters as a whole boat only, so every space on board, from the cabins to the salon and the open deck, stays with a single group for the length of the trip. For anyone comparing options for a Bodrum yacht charter, that means the itinerary and daily rhythm are set entirely by the group itself.

What distinguishes DRAGON FLY is a sailing rig that still does real work rather than sitting for show. When conditions allow, the engines are cut and the yacht moves under canvas, giving the deck a different rhythm and a quieter, more natural motion than a motor-only boat offers. Engine power remains on hand for longer runs or tighter timing, so sail and engine simply cover different needs rather than compete. At 39 metres, the hull carries enough volume and sea-keeping stability for groups planning several consecutive nights aboard.

Routing from Bodrum Marina is left to the guests. Shorter charters suit an easy circuit of the sheltered bays around the Bodrum peninsula, while a week or longer opens up a proper blue cruise along the Aegean and Mediterranean coast, with anchorages and pace set day by day. Ten guests spread out comfortably on a deck this size, with enough open-air space for those who want to stay outside most of the day and enough quiet in each cabin for genuine rest between passages.

A swim off the stern platform before sunset, dinner on deck as the sky darkens, an unhurried morning at anchor with nothing scheduled: at this scale, a week aboard DRAGON FLY makes room for all of it without trading comfort for freedom.
