AMSTERDAM

Launched in 2020, AMSTERDAM is a 14.27-metre sailing yacht based at Yacht Classic Hotel marina in Bodrum. Four cabins accommodate up to eight guests, giving the yacht a size that lets a group spread out comfortably while still being nimble enough to reach smaller, quieter anchorages. Being a 2020 build, the rigging, safety equipment and interior finishes reflect current standards, something that is noticeable as soon as you step aboard.

AMSTERDAM is offered strictly as a whole-boat charter. The cabins, deck and saloon belong entirely to one group for the full duration of the trip, with no other guests joining at any point. That makes it a fitting choice for families or close groups of up to eight who want unrestricted use of every space on board, from the cockpit to the cabins below.

Sailing out of Yacht Classic Hotel, you can plan a relaxed day cruise around the coves of the Bodrum peninsula, or you can choose a longer blue cruise across the Gulf of Gökova. As a sailing yacht, AMSTERDAM can tuck into shallower, less-frequented anchorages that similarly sized motor yachts often have to skip, adding a bit more variety to the stops along the way.

There's a practical side to choosing a sailing yacht too: fuel consumption runs noticeably lower than on a comparable motor yacht, which helps keep weekly charter rates reasonable. Beyond cost, there is also something a motor cruise cannot really replicate, the quiet rhythm of sailing under canvas, the sound of wind in the rigging, and a pace that lets you actually take in the coastline as you pass it. For a Bodrum yacht charter that pairs a recent-build hull with full group privacy, AMSTERDAM is worth considering for a sailing or gulet-style charter along this coast.
