Athena

Built in 2013, Athena is a 14.6 metre sailing yacht based at Ece Marina, offering five private cabins for up to ten guests. She is available exclusively as a whole boat charter, which means the saloon, the deck and every cabin belong to a single group for the whole trip. That makes her a practical, private option for families or a close group of friends looking to sail together without sharing space with strangers.

What sets a trip aboard Athena apart is the sailing itself. Moving under canvas rather than engine power, the yacht follows a pace set by the wind and by the group on board. Guests with sailing experience are welcome to take the helm or help with trimming the sails alongside the crew, while first-time sailors often discover a more immediate connection to the sea than a motor yacht ever offers.

Ece Marina's location gives Athena easy access to the Göcek islands, the sheltered bays near Ölüdeniz and the quieter stretches of the Lycian coast. You can choose a blue cruise built around short hops between calm anchorages, or plan a longer multi-day sailing trip at whatever pace suits the group. The stops, the route and the daily rhythm are entirely up to the charterers, not a fixed itinerary.

At anchor, the open deck gives all ten guests plenty of room to swim and snorkel, with comfortable seating for downtime between sails. With well-kept systems and up-to-date safety equipment, Athena is a solid choice for a Göcek yacht charter or a gulet-style sailing charter along the Lycian coast, and a genuine option for anyone searching for a Fethiye area yacht charter with real sailing at its core.
