Bicos

Built in 2015, Bicos is a 14.98-metre catamaran based at Lykia Yacht Club. She offers four independent double cabins for up to 8 guests and operates strictly as a whole-boat charter, meaning the entire yacht is reserved for one private group for the length of the trip.

The advantage of a catamaran hull is easy to notice on a multi-day charter. The rolling motion common on monohulls stays minimal aboard Bicos, whether guests are anchored overnight, having dinner on the aft deck, or moving between bays. Both stern platforms sit close to the waterline, making it simple to step in and out of the sea at every stop, and snorkelling gear is kept on board for exploring calm bays and shallow reefs along the way.

Beyond the four cabins, the layout creates a genuinely open shared space. The cockpit and saloon flow into one another without interruption, giving all 8 guests plenty of room to relax together without feeling cramped. In good weather the line between indoors and the open deck almost disappears, and Bicos feels noticeably larger than her 14.98 metres suggest. This connection between interior and exterior is part of why more groups weighing gulet charter against catamaran charter are leaning toward the latter.

Sailing out of Lykia Yacht Club, the itinerary is left entirely to the group. A day cruise around the nearby sheltered bays is a simple option, while a multi-night blue cruise along the southern Turkish coast, anchoring somewhere new each evening, is just as achievable with Bicos. With four private cabins, easy water access and a generous deck layout, she suits groups of up to 8 travelling together and looking for a comfortable yacht charter.
