Demirs

Launched in 2024, Demirs is a 12.55 metre sailing yacht based at Lykia Yacht Club. In a charter fleet where most sailing yachts have already logged several seasons of use, a genuinely new build is a real point of difference rather than a marketing phrase. The standing rigging is still in factory condition, every electronic and mechanical system runs exactly as intended, and the interior surfaces and upholstery show none of the wear that accumulates over time. Guests who have previously chartered older boats tend to notice this straight away, in the crispness of the rig and the freshness of everything below decks.

Three private cabins sleep six guests in well-proportioned berths, a layout that suits a family group as comfortably as a party of friends planning a sailing trip together. The cockpit and saloon form the social centre of the boat, the natural setting for meals, a drink at the end of a day under sail, and unhurried evening conversation. When the wind cooperates, Demirs sails cleanly and responsively, while the engine takes care of calmer passages and marina manoeuvres with equal reliability.

Demirs is chartered exclusively as a whole, private yacht for a single group at a time, so no other guests are ever placed aboard during your trip. Every cabin, every part of the deck and all shared spaces belong to your party alone from start to finish. Sailing out of Lykia Yacht Club, you can plan day sails to quiet coves near the base or extend the trip into a multi-day blue cruise along the Lycian coast, setting your own pace along the way. Waking in a new anchorage each morning, long afternoon swims and evenings shaped entirely by your own preferences are the natural rhythm of a charter aboard a yacht like this.

For anyone comparing yacht charter options in the region, it's worth noting that every fitting and finish aboard Demirs remains exactly as it left the yard, an advantage that only grows more noticeable with each passing season.
