Derin

Derin is a 13.1-metre sailing yacht built in 2007 and based at Ece Marina on the Fethiye coast. Three double cabins sleep six guests, and the yacht is offered strictly as a whole-boat charter, so the deck, saloon and cabins belong to a single private group for the entire trip.

The character of Derin becomes obvious once the sails are raised and the engine falls silent. The hull glides through the water with none of the noise or fuel burn typical of a motor yacht, and that calm is felt most clearly when the boat is anchored in one of the sheltered bays of the Göcek Gulf. There's also a practical upside: sailing yachts use noticeably less fuel than motor yachts of similar size, making a multi-day blue cruise on Derin a sensible option for a group of six travelling together.

Anyone planning a Fethiye yacht charter or a Göcek yacht charter can choose a single day out from Ece Marina, or put together a longer sailing charter reaching toward Dalyan. Steady summer winds along this coast keep engine use to a minimum and let the yacht move between bays largely under sail. At 13.1 metres, Derin can also tuck into anchorages that bigger yachts often skip, opening up quieter coves for guests who prefer calm corners over busy marinas.

The three-cabin layout suits two couples travelling with friends, a family of six, or any small group that values separate sleeping quarters. The cockpit, saloon and foredeck each work as their own space, so the boat still feels open even when full. Evenings tend to gather naturally around the cockpit for dinner outdoors, and each day's pace is set by the group rather than a fixed schedule.
