Gia

Gia is a 12.87 metre sailing yacht launched in 2024 and based at Yacht Club Mai. With no full charter season behind her yet, everything on board, from interior finishes to navigation electronics and safety gear, is still exactly as it left the builder. For anyone considering a sailing yacht charter, that means stepping onto a boat whose condition is verifiable rather than assumed.

Gia is offered strictly as a whole-boat charter, with 3 cabins and 6 berths accommodating up to 6 guests. The entire salon and deck belong to a single group for the length of the charter, with no shared schedule and no need to negotiate pace or course with anyone else. Long days on deck balance naturally against the privacy each cabin offers once the sailing is done.

Choosing a sailing yacht over a motor-assisted gulet changes the experience in a fundamental way. At 12.87 metres, Gia is large enough to avoid the cramped feeling smaller sailing boats can develop over several consecutive days, yet remains straightforward to handle. The direct connection between wind, heel and forward motion, something a gulet simply cannot replicate, stays at the centre of every hour spent on board.

From Yacht Club Mai, you can plan a single day out to nearby coves, or a longer blue cruise with several overnight stops along the coast. Stopping points, daily distances and overall pace are entirely up to your group. Gia suits first-time sailing charter guests as well as it suits seasoned sailors returning to the water year after year, and being a 2024 build, it presents and performs the same way today as it did on its very first outing.
