HAMAM

HAMAM is a sailing yacht launched in 2019 and based at Lykia Yacht Club, measuring 15.55 metres from bow to stern. Six cabins accommodate up to 11 guests, and each charter reserves the entire vessel for a single group: deck, cockpit, saloon and every cabin belong exclusively to your party for the duration of the trip.

Being a 2019 build is more than a figure on a spec sheet. Rigging, mechanical systems and interior fittings carry only limited wear, which counts for something on longer passages where conditions shift and there's less room for small mishaps to turn into bigger ones. Among sailing yachts available for charter around Fethiye and Göcek, a vessel this recently built isn't something you find every day.

Sailing rather than motoring also changes what time at anchor feels like. With the engine switched off in a sheltered bay, the surrounding quiet, just wind and water, comes through clearly. At 15.55 metres, HAMAM can tuck into shallower coves and tighter anchorages along the Lycian coast that larger gulets and motor yachts tend to avoid, which opens up more realistic stopping points along any route. For groups who see sailing itself as part of the appeal, not just a means of transport, HAMAM fits the brief.

Setting out from Lykia Yacht Club, you can plan day sails around the Fethiye Gulf, overnight stops among the islands and inlets near Göcek, or a longer blue cruise tracing the Lycian coastline at whatever pace suits your group. Swim breaks, overnight anchorages and departure times are entirely up to you. For parties of up to 11 seeking a newer, well-kept sailing yacht charter in this part of Turkey, HAMAM is worth serious consideration.
