Hera

Launched in 2022, Hera is a 14.4 metre sailing yacht based at Yacht Club Mai, offering three private cabins with six berths for up to seven guests. The yacht is chartered as a whole vessel only, so the salon, deck and every cabin remain at the disposal of a single group for the full duration of the trip. That setup works well for families seeking privacy afloat, two couples splitting the cost of a sailing holiday, or a close group of friends who want the boat entirely to themselves.

Being built in 2022 brings practical benefits. The navigation systems, safety equipment and rigging meet current standards, and the upholstery and deck fittings have not yet gone through several back to back charter seasons of wear. On a yacht where guests share close quarters for a number of nights, that freshness makes a real difference to daily comfort.

Sailing on Hera feels different from a motor yacht or gulet charter. Once the sails are up and the engine is switched off, the boat moves almost silently under wind power alone. A typical day can begin with a brisk morning sail, continue with a long stop at anchor in clear water through the afternoon, and end with dinner on deck as the sun goes down. From Yacht Club Mai you can plan a single day out to a quiet cove, or put together a multi day blue cruise further along the coast, with the itinerary shaped entirely around your group's preferences.

For anyone comparing sailing yacht charter options in this size and capacity range, Hera combines up to date equipment with the quieter pleasure of travelling under canvas. Contact us for availability and a tailored quote.
