ISTANBUL

ISTANBUL is a 14.27-metre sailing yacht built in 2021, based at the Yacht Classic Hotel marina in Bodrum. Four cabins accommodate up to 8 guests, and the yacht is chartered exclusively as a whole vessel: one group holds every space aboard for the full duration of the trip. That setup makes ISTANBUL a practical choice for families, groups of friends and corporate parties who value genuine, unshared privacy on a Bodrum yacht charter.

Its 2021 build year is a real, tangible plus on a multi-day sailing itinerary. Interior fittings, deck hardware and mechanical systems have only a handful of seasons behind them, so the yacht runs with the consistency of a current-generation build. Anchored in a quiet Bodrum cove, that relative newness matters beyond appearance, translating into fewer of the wear-related issues that show up on older hulls.

What sets ISTANBUL apart from motor yachts and gulets of similar size is that it is a true sailing vessel. Once the sails are up and the engine falls silent, the character of the trip changes completely. For guests who want sailing itself, not just the destination, to be the point of the journey, this yacht is built with that in mind. The waters around Gökova and the nearby bays offer strong sailing conditions for a multi-day blue cruise, pairing long stretches under canvas with sheltered overnight anchorages and clear water for swimming. You can plan a route that makes the most of the prevailing winds and the calm inlets along this coast.

Shorter programmes work just as well. A day charter departing from the Yacht Classic Hotel marina lets a group explore the bays and small islands near Bodrum at an unhurried pace, without a fixed schedule to follow. Whether the plan is a single day among the coves or a longer blue cruise, ISTANBUL offers a solid option for anyone comparing gulet charter and yacht charter choices in the region.
