About the Yacht

Kummsal is a 13.24-metre sailing yacht launched in 2021 and berthed at Yacht Club Mai. Four private cabins accommodate eight guests for overnight stays, with a total on-board capacity of nine. Every charter of Kummsal is an exclusive whole-boat hire: from the first morning to the final evening, the cabins, cockpit, salon and deck belong entirely to one group, with no shared spaces and no other guests on board.

The 2021 build year has real practical significance for anyone planning a multi-day blue cruise. Kummsal was constructed to the safety regulations and technical standards in force at the time of her launch, and her cabin interiors retain their original fit-out. Deck hardware and sail equipment are kept in dependable working order, which matters when a group's plans depend on moving reliably from one anchorage to the next over several consecutive days. Opting for a newer hull reduces unknowns, even against older boats that have been carefully maintained over the years.

Sailing transforms a coastal passage in ways that a motor vessel cannot replicate. On Kummsal, the legs between anchorages follow wind and sea conditions rather than a fixed engine schedule, giving each day its own pace and character. At eight guests overnight, the arrangement is well suited to families or close groups of friends who want full command of their time on the water without the logistical demands of a larger yacht.

Departing from Yacht Club Mai, charter plans can be shaped to almost any preference. A single-day outing, with time spent anchored in sheltered coves and open-water swimming before returning to the marina by evening, is entirely workable. Equally, a multi-day blue cruise with overnight anchorages chosen freely according to wind conditions and personal curiosity can be planned with the same ease. The route can be fixed before departure or adjusted day by day as wind and conditions evolve.
