Kummsal

Launched in 2021, Kummsal is a 13.24 metre sailing yacht based at Yacht Club Mai. She sleeps up to nine guests across four private cabins with eight berths, and every booking covers the entire vessel. From cockpit to salon, deck and all cabins, the yacht belongs exclusively to one group for the full duration of the charter, giving families and close groups of friends complete independence on the water without the running costs tied to a larger boat.

Being a 2021 build carries genuine practical benefits. The cabin interiors remain in their original factory condition, and the deck hardware and sailing equipment are kept in dependable working order, a real consideration when planning consecutive nights at anchor in different coves. A newer hull removes the small uncertainties that can accumulate on an older sailing yacht over an extended stretch on the water.

Choosing a sailing yacht changes the whole rhythm of a charter. Aboard Kummsal, the pace between anchorages follows wind and sea conditions rather than an engine dial or a fixed schedule, letting each day take its own shape. For guests who want sailing itself to be the highlight of the trip rather than a secondary feature, this yacht offers a feel and level of engagement that a motor yacht simply cannot match. At 13.24 metres, she stays easy to handle while still offering enough living space for nine guests.

Sailing out of Yacht Club Mai, Kummsal suits several kinds of plans. You can choose a day sail with a midday stop for swimming in a quiet bay and a relaxed return before sunset. Alternatively, you can plan a multi-day blue cruise, choosing overnight anchorages according to the wind, the conditions and the group's mood, adjusting the route as you go. Whichever you decide, the yacht stays entirely at your group's disposal. For those searching for a sailing yacht charter or a gulet charter experience, Kummsal is a solid option to consider.
