Safina

Safina is a 13.72-metre sailing yacht built in 2005 and based at Ece Marina. She sleeps eight guests in four private cabins and is offered strictly as a whole-boat charter, meaning the deck, saloon and every cabin on board belong exclusively to one group for the length of the trip.

What distinguishes Safina in these waters is her shallow draft. Many of the gulets and motor yachts sailing out of the same coastline sit deeper in the water, which keeps them anchored well off the smallest and most sheltered coves around Fethiye and Göcek. Safina can sail directly into many of those same spots and drop anchor there, reaching bays that stay out of reach for larger vessels. When the wind cooperates, the engine can be switched off entirely and the yacht moves under sail alone, a style of cruising a motor yacht simply cannot offer.

Ece Marina sits between two very different sailing grounds, the calm, sheltered gulf of Fethiye on one side and the island-scattered channels leading toward Göcek on the other. From here, you can plan a single day of sailing through the nearby bays, or arrange a multi-night blue cruise along this part of the Turquoise Coast. The route, the pace and how much time is spent under sail versus at anchor are left open, with no fixed itinerary built into the week.

For a Fethiye yacht charter or Göcek yacht charter centred on genuine sailing rather than engine-powered cruising, Safina is a fitting choice. Her four cabins comfortably suit eight guests on longer trips, and her shallow draft regularly opens up anchorages that bigger boats in the same waters cannot reach.
