About the Yacht

Sail Betelgeuse is a 14.27-metre sailing yacht built in 2022, based at Ece Marina. With four cabins sleeping eight guests, the yacht is chartered exclusively as a whole boat: the cockpit, foredeck, saloon and every cabin belong solely to one group for the duration of the booking.

A 2022 build date is a genuine point in favour when comparing yacht charter options. A vessel with only a few seasons behind it typically means up-to-date navigation and safety equipment, mechanical parts that have not been worn down by repeated back-to-back bookings, and a hull condition that matches what appears in photographs. On a multi-day blue cruise, where reliability at sea genuinely matters, the build year and overall condition of a yacht are practical factors worth weighing.

Setting off from Ece Marina, groups can plan routes toward the sheltered anchorages near Göcek, quieter coves along the Fethiye peninsula, or longer stretches of open coastline further afield. A single day exploring nearby bays works well for a tighter schedule, while longer blue cruise itineraries with several overnight stops can be arranged around the season and prevailing winds. The pace and destinations are shaped around what the group wants from the trip.

Sailing brings a different rhythm to a sea holiday than a motor yacht can. With the engine off and the sails filled, the deck settles into a calm rarely found on powered vessels, and the coastline unfolds at an unhurried pace. Guests keen to take the helm or try a simple manoeuvre are welcome to do so, while those who prefer to relax on the foredeck and leave the sailing to the crew are equally at home. This sailing yacht charter from Ece Marina suits groups seeking a private, self-contained experience with the flexibility to follow the wind.
