Sail Vega

Sail Vega is a 14.27-metre sailing yacht built in 2014 and based at Ece Marina. With four cabins sleeping eight guests, she is offered strictly as a whole-boat charter, so from the moment she leaves the dock to the moment she returns, the entire yacht, deck, salon and cabins alike, belongs to a single private group.

The rhythm of a passage under sail differs from a motor cruise from the first minute. Once the canvas fills and the engine falls silent, what remains is the sound of wind in the rigging and water moving along the hull. The 2014 interior layout was built with longer voyages in mind, so the four cabins and shared spaces stay comfortable whether the trip runs for a single day or stretches across a full week at sea.

Sailing out of Ece Marina, Sail Vega works well both for a short day sailing charter and for a longer blue cruise covering several anchorages along the coast. Mornings can be spent at anchor in a quiet bay, afternoons given over to a small harbour village, or an extra day added wherever the setting is worth it. The pace, stops and overall itinerary are left to the group on board rather than fixed in advance.

For travellers weighing a sailing yacht charter against a gulet charter in this part of the coast, Sail Vega offers a straightforward, well-kept case for choosing sail. A week spent moving under wind power feels distinctly different from a motor-driven trip, and that difference is easy to notice once underway.
