Suncity 5

Suncity 5 is a 14.4-metre sailing yacht built in 2023, based at Yacht Club Mai. She sleeps up to eight guests in four private cabins, with room for nine on board, and is chartered exclusively as a whole boat, so every deck and cabin belongs to your party alone from the moment you cast off.

Being a 2023 build means up-to-date navigation electronics, current safety certification, and interiors that still show the crisp finish of an early-season yacht. What sets Suncity 5 apart from a motor yacht of similar size, though, is her rig: she was fitted out for genuine sailing rather than for cruising under engine with canvas as decoration. When the wind fills in, the engine falls silent and the sailing itself takes over, a distinction that matters to anyone booking a sailing yacht charter specifically for the sail.

A charter based at Yacht Club Mai can follow whatever pace suits your group. A day on board might begin with an early start, settle into a long lunch anchorage in a quiet cove, and finish with an easy sail back as the light softens. Groups with more time can plan a multi-day blue cruise, choosing a new bay each night and letting the wind set the following day's route. The four-cabin layout suits two or three couples travelling together well, and works for families with older children or teenagers who want real offshore sailing rather than a stationary platform.
