Velero

Velero is a 13.41-metre sailing yacht built in 2003 and based at Ece Marina in Fethiye. She sleeps up to nine guests across four cabins and is chartered exclusively as a whole boat, meaning the saloon, cockpit, deck and every cabin belong to a single private group from the moment she leaves the dock.

The shift from engine to canvas is what sets a sailing charter apart. Once the sails fill, the hum of the motor gives way to the sound of water along the hull and a gentle heel as Velero finds her course. With more than two decades at sea, she handles both a brisk morning passage under full sail and a slow, quiet afternoon at anchor with the same easy composure.

Leaving from Ece Marina, you can plan a single day out among the sheltered bays near Fethiye, or arrange a multi-day blue cruise with overnight stops at different anchorages along the coast. A sailing itinerary naturally follows the wind: an early start to catch the morning breeze, a midday hour tucked into a quiet cove, and a pace set by conditions rather than a fixed timetable. This adaptability is one of the real pleasures of a Fethiye yacht charter aboard a genuine sailboat, and it suits newcomers and seasoned sailors alike.

Four cabins on a hull just over thirteen metres strike a fair balance between private sleeping quarters and the shared life on deck that takes over once the anchor is down. Meals aft, quiet evenings under open sky and the steady alternation of sailing and rest give shape to each day aboard. It is a practical option for families, groups of friends or anyone drawn to a proper sailing charter along this coast. Reach out to us for availability and a tailored quote.
