Athena 4

Launched in 2023, Athena 4 is a 14.6-metre sailing yacht based at Göcek Mucev Marina on Turkey's southwestern coast. Four private cabins accommodate up to 8 guests, and the yacht is available only as a full charter, meaning one group has exclusive use of the deck, saloon and every cabin from departure to return.

Because the yacht was built in 2023, its rigging, navigation electronics, wiring and interior fittings all date from the same period. That consistency reduces the chance of mismatched or ageing equipment, a practical point worth noting for anyone planning a Göcek yacht charter where sea and wind conditions can change within a day.

Onboard life centers on the cockpit and open deck. Lunch is typically taken at anchor, dinner as the coastline dims into silhouette, and the stretch when the sails fill and hold their shape offers a quieter rhythm than a motor yacht ever gives. Below deck, the saloon provides a shaded, comfortable space to retreat to without leaving the pace of the sail. From Göcek, you can plan day trips to nearby bays such as Sarsala or Bedri Rahmi Cove and the Yassıca Islands, all reachable within a few hours under sail. For a longer blue cruise, routes toward Dalyan, Ölüdeniz or Marmaris can be arranged, taking in a varied mix of sheltered anchorages along the way. An afternoon spent swimming from a quiet bay is often reason enough for the whole trip.

Where a gulet charter tends to favour deck space and a sociable, communal feel, a sailing yacht charter puts guests closer to the water and to the mechanics of sailing itself. Athena 4 combines both qualities in a recently built yacht suited to private groups of up to eight. Contact us for availability and a tailored quote for your Göcek yacht charter or blue cruise.
