Bavaria Cruiser 40

Built in 2012, the Bavaria Cruiser 40 is a 12.35-metre sailing yacht based at Marinturk Village Port on the Bodrum Peninsula. Three private cabins sleep up to six guests, with a maximum of seven allowed on board. She is chartered exclusively as a whole vessel, so once you cast off, the cabins, saloon and cockpit are set aside entirely for your own group.

At this length, the Bavaria Cruiser 40 strikes a practical balance between easy handling and genuine sailing capability. She fits comfortably into the sheltered bays along the Bodrum coastline, yet holds a steady course on longer open-water stretches when the itinerary calls for it. The cockpit is arranged for straightforward sail handling, and once the autopilot is engaged, the deck naturally becomes the spot where everyone gathers. Below, the saloon doubles as a dinner spot at anchor, a table for planning the next day's route, or simply a quiet corner once the wind eases.

Sailing from Marinturk Village Port, you can plan a day charter through the bays and coves of the Bodrum Peninsula, with stops for swimming along the way. With more time available, a multi-night Bodrum yacht charter reaching toward the Gulf of Gökova lets you cover a good stretch of Aegean coastline at an easy pace. A professional skipper can be arranged on request, so prior sailing experience is not required.

For anyone comparing a sailing yacht charter in Bodrum with a gulet charter, the Bavaria Cruiser 40 offers a clear deck layout, three-cabin accommodation for up to seven guests, and dependable sailing performance from a hull that has held up well since 2012. Whether the plan is a single day on the water or a longer blue cruise, this yacht adapts well to either. Contact us for availability and a tailored quote for your dates.
