Chagla

Built in 2023, Chagla is a 14.27-metre sailing yacht based at Marinturk Village Port in Bodrum. Four cabins accommodate up to eight guests, and the yacht is chartered as a whole vessel only, meaning the cockpit, salon and every shared space on board belong exclusively to the group that books her. There's no sharing with other parties, which makes her a straightforward choice for families or groups of friends who want full use of the boat to themselves.

The 2023 build date is worth noting for anyone planning a longer trip. Navigation equipment and safety gear are current, and the interior hasn't yet accumulated the wear that older charter boats show after several seasons. On a multi-night blue cruise, where reliable systems matter more than they might on a short day trip, that newness carries real practical value. New-build sailing yachts available for whole-boat charter in Bodrum are not especially common, and Chagla fits into that smaller category.

Sailing under canvas offers a different rhythm than a motor yacht or gulet charter. Once the sails are up and the engine cuts out, the pace of the day changes noticeably. Guests who want to take the helm or lend a hand with the sails are free to do so, while those who'd rather relax in the cockpit and watch the coastline pass are just as well suited to the experience.

From Marinturk Village Port, you can plan a day cruise around the bays near Bodrum, or arrange a longer blue cruise across the Gulf of Gökova. Four cabins on a 14.27-metre hull work well for a long weekend or a full week at sea. First-time charter guests can take comfort in the yacht's recent build, and experienced sailors will appreciate systems that are still running at their best.
