Steelbird I

Steelbird I is a 12-metre sailing yacht built in 2008, permanently based at D-Marin Göcek Marina. With three cabins accommodating up to seven guests, she is chartered exclusively as a whole boat, meaning every deck, cabin and corner belongs solely to your group for the full duration of the trip.

A shallow draught is one of the clearest practical benefits a sailing yacht like Steelbird I holds over motor yachts and gulets of similar size. She can reach anchorages, narrow channels and sheltered coves that deeper vessels cannot approach. Sailing out of Göcek, this opens up the surrounding island bays, the passages toward Fethiye Bay and the quieter stretches leading toward Gökova.

You can choose a day cruise among the bays close to Göcek, or plan a multi-day blue cruise that resets its course each morning with the wind. Dropping anchor in an uncrowded cove and spending an afternoon at your own pace is one of the particular pleasures of a sailing charter, distinct from the routine of a motor yacht.

With three cabins and berths for seven, Steelbird I suits couples travelling together, families with children, or groups of friends looking for a private Göcek yacht charter with genuine sailing character. Because the yacht is booked as a complete vessel, your group sets the daily pace without sharing the boat with anyone else. Contact us for availability and a tailored quote for your travel dates.
