Hydra

Built in 2021 and measuring 13.99 metres, Hydra is a catamaran based at Yacht Club Mai. With four private cabins, eight berths and a total guest capacity of twelve, the yacht is offered exclusively as a whole-boat charter, giving your group full use of every cabin, the deck and all shared spaces on board.

Hydra's onboard systems make it notably self-sufficient at sea. A Lithium LiFePO4 battery bank paired with a dedicated solar panel array covers most of the daily energy load, cutting down generator run time and keeping the deck quiet at anchor. A watermaker produces fresh drinking water independently of shore facilities, a real advantage when anchored in quieter, more remote coves. The navigation suite runs on B&G electronics, including a chartplotter with up-to-date charts, autopilot and remote-control capability, all supporting a confident, comfortable passage in varying sea conditions. A regular annual maintenance schedule keeps the yacht consistently well kept.

The catamaran's wide beam creates a stable platform and generous living space both on deck and below, making Hydra a practical choice for families with children, groups of couples or larger circles of friends of up to twelve guests. You can plan a day cruise from Yacht Club Mai to explore nearby bays and anchorages, or extend the trip into a multi-day blue cruise along quieter stretches of coastline. Evenings at anchor in a sheltered bay, with the solar system quietly running the lights and refrigerator, show the kind of self-contained comfort a well-equipped catamaran can offer over a standard monohull charter. For anyone comparing yacht charter or gulet charter options with a catamaran in mind, Hydra stands out for its technical setup and roomy layout.
