Suncity 2

Suncity 2 is an 11.97-metre catamaran built in 2014 and berthed at Yacht Club Mai. With four private double cabins and a total capacity of ten guests, the yacht is offered strictly as a whole-boat charter: one private group has sole use of all four cabins, the full deck, and every shared interior space for the entire voyage, with no sharing with other guests or groups.

The twin-hull layout brings a real stability advantage over monohulls of similar length. The wide bridgedeck connecting both hulls absorbs much of the rolling motion during afternoon passages when winds tend to pick up, so offshore stretches stay manageable even for guests with little prior sailing experience. At anchor, that same bridgedeck opens up into a wide platform where all ten guests can sunbathe, dine, and unwind through the evening without feeling cramped. Stern steps set flush with the waterline make swimming and snorkelling part of the daily rhythm rather than an added task.

Starting from Yacht Club Mai, you can plan a compact two or three-day coastal cruise around sheltered anchorages and quiet coves, or choose a full week-long blue cruise with a new bay each morning and calm evenings away from busy harbours. Groups weighing a catamaran charter against a gulet charter for a similar guest count will notice that Suncity 2 offers a clear edge in stability, usable deck space, and overall comfort underway, a difference that becomes most obvious once the yacht settles into its daily pace at sea.

Multi-generational families, milestone celebrations, and longer private charters all suit what Suncity 2 offers. For anyone comparing yacht charter or catamaran charter options at Yacht Club Mai, this boat delivers a steady, sociable base for a relaxed blue cruise.
