Athena 2 is a 14.6-metre sailing yacht launched in 2023 and based at Göcek Mucev Marina, positioned at the direct entrance to Skopea Lagoon on Turkey's Lycian coast. The yacht is available exclusively as a private whole-boat charter for a single group: four cabins sleep up to eight guests, and the deck, saloon and all shared spaces remain entirely within your group for the full duration of the charter.

The 2023 build date is not a cosmetic detail. The rigging, navigation electronics and onboard systems are fully current, which translates to reliable performance under sail even in the more demanding conditions that can arise on this stretch of coast. Göcek has a well-established reputation among serious sailors for its consistent summer meltemi, and Athena 2 is well suited to making the most of that wind. Day sails from Mucev Marina can comfortably reach Tersane Bay, Bedri Rahmi Cove and the Yassıca Islands within a single day, with the route adjusted freely around wind and the group's own pace.

Groups with more time available can use Skopea Lagoon as the launchpad for multi-night passages. Sailing north toward Fethiye or pushing south toward Ölüdeniz over several nights is a natural fit for a yacht of this specification and build quality. You can plan a short blue cruise of two or three nights, or take a full week and set the rhythm entirely as a group.
