Athena 2

Athena 2 is a 14.6-metre sailing yacht built in 2023, based at Göcek Mucev Marina close to the entrance of Skopea Lagoon. Being a 2023 build, her rigging and navigation electronics are fully up to date, a real advantage for groups who want genuine sailing performance rather than just engine hours along Göcek's breezy coastline.

The yacht sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 private cabins. Every charter covers the whole boat for a single private group, so the cockpit, saloon and deck are yours alone for the duration of the trip. Each cabin offers its own private space, while the saloon and open deck naturally become the gathering point for meals, route planning and evenings at anchor.

Athena 2's relatively shallow draft lets her reach sheltered coves that larger yachts often cannot approach. A day's sail out of Mucev Marina can cover Tersane Bay, Bedri Rahmi Cove or the Yassıca Islands. With more days available, you can plan a longer Göcek blue cruise from Skopea Lagoon, heading north toward Fethiye or south toward Ölüdeniz, choosing anchorages around your group's pace and the wind on the day. A couple of nights suits a handful of bays, while a full week allows a slower, more relaxed pace at sea.

For families, groups of friends and couples looking for a Göcek yacht charter built around sailing rather than motoring, Athena 2 offers modern equipment, private cabin space for up to 8 guests and access to some of the quieter anchorages along this stretch of coast.
