Athena 2 is a 14.6-metre sailing yacht built in 2023 and based at Göcek Mucev Marina, which sits at the direct entrance to Skopea Lagoon on Turkey's Lycian coast. Chartered exclusively as a whole vessel for a single private group, Athena 2 accommodates up to eight guests across four private cabins. The deck, saloon and all shared spaces belong to your group alone for the duration of the charter.

A 2023 build carries genuine practical weight. The rigging, navigation electronics and onboard systems are entirely current, which means consistent performance under sail in conditions that might stretch an older yacht. Göcek is well regarded among serious sailors for its reliable summer meltemi, and Athena 2 is well suited to putting that wind to work. Day sails from Mucev Marina can reach Tersane Bay, Bedri Rahmi Cove and the Yassıca Islands comfortably within a single day, with the route adjusted freely around wind strength and the group's preferences.

Groups with more time can use Skopea Lagoon as the starting point for multi-night passages in either direction. Sailing north toward Fethiye or pushing south toward Ölüdeniz over several nights is a natural programme for a yacht of this build and specification. You can plan a short blue cruise of two or three nights, or take a full week and set the pace entirely as a group.
