At 24.00 the glasses rise, the city lights up all at once, and the new year is met right in the middle of it, on the water. Music and conversation fill the rest of the night.

Why book early?
New Year is the single busiest night of the whole year. The number of private boats in Istanbul is limited, and the most sought-after ones often sell out in November. Will the cold be a problem?
The Bosphorus is of course cool in late December, but the boats have heated enclosed saloons and much of the night can be spent inside with the view through the windows.
