How does a day charter work?
On a daily charter the boat leaves the marina in the morning and returns to the same spot in the evening; there is no overnight stay. The boat is entirely yours: the route, the music, the length of each swim stop and where lunch happens are your decisions. The captain suggests bays based on the day's wind, and the guest has the final word.
Your departure point is the first item on the plan. Bodrum's central marina is the most practical choice, close to the castle and to dinner options after the cruise; Yalikavak reaches the western bays faster, while Turgutreis is the natural base for sunset routes. The classic Bodrum day charter runs 6 to 8 hours, comfortably covering two or three bays, long swim stops and lunch on board.
